Russet Potatoes
similar in size

oil
you can use vegetable, canola or olive.

cups
cheddar cheese
4
slices
bacon
2
green onions
sour cream

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°.
Cut the potatoes into ¾ inch slices. Make sure not to cut them too thin or you will end up with potato chips.
Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
Lightly coat the tops with oil. Flip them over and repeat.
Lightly season with salt and pepper.
Bake on a baking sheet in the oven for about 20 minutes.
While the potatoes are in the oven baking, you should cook the bacon. Do not throw away the bacon grease.
After the bacon is done cooking, you will cut it into small pieces to sprinkle on the top of the cheese.
Remove the potato slices from the oven and lightly brush with bacon grease. Flip them over and repeat.
Bake for another 10 minutes.
Add the cheese and bacon bits and bake just until cheese has melted.
Top with green onions and serve with sour cream.
