    Would you believe me if I told you this Dark Chocolate and Banana Smoothie was healthy? Well, it is! And I have facts to prove it.

    This smoothie is refined sugar-free, gluten-free and vegan. With only 6 ingredients (almond milk, banana, spinach, cocoa powder, chia seeds, and vanilla extract or cinnamon) this simple smoothie is packed with nutritional value. This chocolate smoothie can be enjoyed as a quick breakfast or snack.

    Chocolate and Banana Smoothie

    Healthy smoothie with banana and cocoa powder combined with almond milk, spinach and chia seeds.

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 banana
    • 1 cup spinach
    • 1 cup almond milk
    • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
    • 3 tablespoon chia seeds
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract or cinnamon to elevate the chocolate flavor

    Instructions
     

    • Blend all the ingredients together.
    • Add ice for a creamier blend.
    • Serve immediately or freeze leftovers in an airtight container.
